Overview
OpenExO is a business consultancy that accelerates innovation and emerging technology adaptation. They offer methodology certification and connect innovation consultants with client projects through a two-sided platform.
Creating scalable content while maintaining a uniform message across all customer touchpoints is hard. It is doubly challenging when you are a startup searching for business model fit with a proprietary methodology and a product serving multiple user segments.

My Role on a 30+ Person Team
Content Team Lead and Content Designer
I developed a first-version enterprise content strategy, hired and mentored a team of content designers and collaborated with all areas of the company to help the company achieve business model fit. This included stakeholders from business strategy, delivery, operations, platform product, community growth, marketing, social, sales, engineering, design, research, accounting and legal. I also aligned message and branding with sister companies and community members in the ExO universe.
Outcome
We increased useful, client-centered content production across the entire team leading to:
User growth of 600% in one year in the OpenExO Community by creating value through events, summits, webinars, books, certification, education, sprints, public profiles, networking and job opportunities
developing a scalable two-sided marketplace platform that increased both client and innovation consultant satisfaction
